Trim, Crown Moulding, and Millwork in Jacksonville, FL
Base, crown, tongue-and-groove ceilings, and faux beams. The finish carpentry that makes a floor look finished.
A new floor with the old, paint-caked baseboard still on the wall looks unfinished, and everyone can tell even if they cannot say why. Trim is what closes the gap between the floor and the room.
Trim is quoted as its own scope rather than bundled into a floor price, so you can see what it costs and decide. Having us do it alongside the flooring means one contract and one schedule, with no waiting on a separate trim contractor to come back and close things out. We run baseboard, quarter round, crown moulding, tongue-and-groove ceilings, faux beams, stair trim, and casing.
The Fernandina Beach project is the clearest example. Herringbone backsplash, a faux beam, a tongue-and-groove entry ceiling, and crown moulding, all in the same house, all on one contract.

FAQ
Trim & Millwork questions
What homeowners ask us before they commit.
Not covered here? Call (904) 592-0777 and ask.
Do I need new baseboard when I get new flooring?
Not always, but often it is worth it. Removing old base without damaging it is difficult, and the old profile frequently does not sit right against a new floor height. If your existing base is in good shape and the heights work, we can reuse it and add quarter round instead.
Do you paint the trim you install?
We install it caulked, filled, and sanded so it is ready for paint. Painting is usually handled by the homeowner or their painter, but ask us when we quote and we will tell you what we can include.
